Training returns week of 13 July.

The Chase Basketball Academies have enjoyed a fantastic start to 2026, with student-athletes across all Academy schools bringing great effort and focus throughout Semester One.

A huge thank you to all student-athletes and families for your ongoing support and commitment to the Academies. The enthusiasm shown each week has helped create a positive and connected environment across every school program.

One of the major highlights of Semester One was the success of the Chase Academy Tournament, which continued to grow in 2026 with new Academy schools Norwood Secondary College, Glen Eira College and Bentleigh Secondary College joining the event. The tournament was a great celebration of competition, teamwork and community across the wider Academy network.

Semester One focused on building strong basketball fundamentals and teamwork, while Semester Two will continue to expand with advanced skill development and more competitive gameplay opportunities across sessions.

We are excited for another big semester ahead and look forward to seeing continued improvement and connection across all Chase Basketball Academies.

Chase is excited to welcome Beaumaris Secondary College to the Chase Basketball Academy program in 2026.

The continued growth of the Academies means more student-athletes across Melbourne can access high-quality basketball development and the unique experience that makes the Chase Academy pathway so special.

For current Academy student-athletes, the expansion of the Academy network continues to create bigger tournament days and more opportunities to connect with athletes from across all Chase schools.

We are proud to continue building the Academy community centred around basketball, belonging and development.
